Check that your Product state is either activated (if you purchased product) or trial period X days left (for trial users). Go to System Preferences – NTFS for Mac – Activation. Go to solution 2 if this does not resolve the issue.
Check that your driver is not disabled. Go to solution 3 if this does not resolve the issue.
Try to reload NTFS kext by running Terminal commands (Go to Applications – Utilities – Terminal):
sudo kextunload /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext
sudo kextload /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext
This solution does not require reboot – you should be able to check if this fixed the issue right away. Go to solution 4 if this does not resolve the issue.
Next try to reboot your Mac – check driver functionality after reboot, also please check driver functionality with other devices and/or connection. Go to solution 5 if this does not resolve the issue.
Reinstall driver by:
If you still can’t use driver and get an error that bundle is damaged Go to solution 6 if this does not resolve the issue.
Fix permissions on your Mac and change ownership:
sudo /usr/libexec/repair_packages –repair –standard-pkgs –volume /
sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext
If none of the above steps helped – Please Submit Request and Upload Log Files using NTFS for Mac interface.
