Scenario: After selecting the ‘regular’/full scale interface, it fails to load with error messages about missing language file, etc. or displays a complete corrupt User Interface.
This error means that the program configuration file was damaged (usually due to incorrect program shutdown).
To repair it please delete
“C:\Program Files\Paragon Software\<Product_name>\program\settings.xml”,
run installation file again and select “Repair”.
If this does not help, please uninstall the program, delete the product folder completely from C:\Program files\Paragon Software\ and install it again.
This applies to BR 16 SP2, HDM 15 SP5 and HDM 16:
For HDM 16 and newer additionally please try performing these actions:
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Type %TMP% into address bar and press Enter
3. Delete all files from this location (skipping files and folders that prompts that they are being used).
4. Check if the issue is resolved.
