Which License Am I Using?

Scenario:

Sometime you may need to activate the license on the new PC/Mac and you have several identical licenses on your Account and you don’t remember which one you’ve activated on the selected computer. In this case please see the instructions below:

Windows PC:

Get the Product ID of the computer:

• To get the Product ID of the computer, you need  to open: Control Panel -> All Control Panel Items -> System . The Product ID is the value we refer to as GUID of the computer in MyParagon portal:

• Find the corresponding license in My Paragon Account:

  1. Login to MyParagon Account: https://my.paragon-software.com/#/login
  2. Expand ‘Product&Services’ section and open ‘My Products’
  3. Find the license that contains GUID of the selected PC:

OR, if you are using a new version of our software:

Get the MAC address of the computer:

• To get the MAC address of the computer, you need  to open: Settings -> Network & Internet -> View your network properties. The Physical address is a GUID of the computer in this case:

Find the corresponding license in My Paragon Account:

1. Login to MyParagon Account: https://my.paragon-software.com/#/login
2. Expand ‘Product & Services’ section and open ‘My Products’
3. Find the license that contains GUID (MAC address) of the selected PC:

Find the corresponding license in ParagonBox Account:

1. Login to ParagonBox Account: https://uc.paragon-software.com/#/login
2. Find the product you need to activate and open ‘Show details’
3. Click on the account the license is linked to.
4. Find the license that contains GUID (MAC address) of the selected PC:

Mac:

1.  Get the UUID of the computer:

   To get the Hardware UUID of the Mac, you need  to open: Apple sign-> About This Mac-> System Report.  Hardware UUID is the value we refer to as GUID of the computer in MyParagon portal:

   

    

2.  Find corresponding license in ParagonBox Account:

1. Login to ParagonBox Account: https://uc.paragon-software.com/#/login
2. Expand ‘Show details’ section and click on to triangular sign to expand the license activation info.
3. Click on the email address for each activation.
4. Find the license that contains GUID of the selected Mac:

CR: Activation, HowTos, HowTos: General, HowTos: Mac OS X, HowTos: Windows
