To create backup archive, switch to Backup and Restore tab and press Create New Archive.
Specify the objects you wish to back up:
Click Continue.
On this stage, you can set backup options, as well as see required and available amount of disk space.
To specify a directory where the backup archive will be saved, click on arrow icon next to Backup location. A Finder window will appear, allowing you to navigate to the required path.
Once you’ve navigated to the desired location, click Open to set the current location as backup destinstion.
To specify the file name and description for the backup archive, use the corresponding text fields. Default backup name varies depending on the current time and date.
You can choose between four different archive container formats: Paragon Virtual Hard Drive, VMware Virtual Machine Disk, VirtualBox Virtual Disk Image and Microsoft Virtual Hard Disk.
You can also set compression ratio for the created backup archive. Selecting bigger compression ratio will lead to longer process duration, but will make the archive take less disk space.
Press Backup to begin the backup process.
After the process is finished, press Close.
The created archive will appear in Archive Database, making it possible to manage.
